Hemorrhoid Cure – Natural Herbway

Hemorrhoid cure solutions have been searched for since man first stood erect and pressure increased on his pelvic area. The search still continues in the modern world. Descriptions of people with hemorrhoids have been found in the records of the earliest civilizations. Around 1700 B.C., an Egyptian recorded on papyrus the first written treatment for hemorrhoids. It prescribed a poultice of ground acacia leaves on a strip of linen to be applied to a man’s anus to relieve him of his suffering. Today, many people still are searching for a hemorrhoid cure, often on the internet, where they find countless websites exclaiming that they have the one-true-hemorrhoid cure. The problem, of course, is to distinguish between the charlatans and the honest vendor who really has concern for your well-being. Your most important defense is to learn as much as possible about hemorrhoids, so you are not the victim of fraudulent schemes. Even reading some history about the search for a hemorrhoid cure is enlightening.

Some three thousand years ago, the Egyptians and Greeks tried to find their hemorrhoid cures with herbal poultices and even surgery.  Around 460 B.C., Hippocrates, the father of medicine, wrote that hemorrhoids were caused by “bile or phlegm” in the veins of the rectum, which then heats the veins, causing the veins to swell outward and squirt out blood during a bowel movement.  He also described a treatment where hemorrhoids were tied by a needle with a thick thread which caused them to drop off, a procedure very similar to the ligation treatment available today.  The Greeks may have used butcher’s broom, which they considered a miracle herb, to treat hemorrhoids.  They knew that the herb had wonderful healing powers for varicose veins, and for other circulatory and inflammatory disorders.  You have to admire how advance their thinking was so long ago that we seem to have made little progress in the treatment we still offer to people in search of a hemorrhoid cure.  We have the Greeks to thank for the word “hemorrhoid.”  It comes from their words, “haema” for blood and “rhoos” for flowing.  Later in the middle ages, the other term “piles,” coming from Latin “pila” or ball, began to appear.

In the Middle Ages, hemorrhoids were known as St. Fiacre’s curse in reference to the patron saint of gardeners and herbalists.  The blessings of St. Fiacre are still welcomed by those who love springtime and planting, the smell of turned earth, and the joy of harvest. According to the legend, one day an unsympathetic bishop handed St. Fiacre a small shovel, and said he could have all the land he could cultivate from that morning to night.  Being an enterprising fellow, St. Fiacre worked diligently at his task, but by the end of the day, he had developed a severe case of prolapsed hemorrhoids.  To find relief, he sat down on a stone and prayed for a hemorrhoid cure.  His laments were heard by God who miraculously granted him his wish for a hemorrhoid cure.  The stone, on which he sat, is said to have an imprint of his hemorrhoids.  In the hope of receiving a hemorrhoid cure, people still journey to St. Fiacre’s stone in France to sit on it, and pray for a miracle.

During the Renaissance to the nineteenth century, surgery was the primary method of treatment in the search for a hemorrhoid cure.  There was the era of the “Barber Surgeons,” which lasted from 1500 to 1850 A.D.  At this point in history, barbers and surgeons worked together because surgeons were not considered physicians.  The barber’s red and white pole today reflects the time when barbers performed surgery—it symbolizes blood and white bandages.  Surgery was the preferred method for treating hemorrhoids for 350 years.  Needless to say, the mortality rate from these surgeries was extremely high.  Actual physicians during this time began to question the use of surgery for a hemorrhoid cure.  They believed that ligation of the hemorrhoid as Hippocrates described was a better approach.  Another method used was anal stretching or rectal bouginage.  In this treatment, a cylindrical device or bougin was inserted into the rectum to stretch muscles and tissues. Since treatment was conducted without anesthetics this must have been a painful procedure.  Supposedly, it made the rectum larger, relaxed the sphincter muscle, and diminished hemorrhoids.  Interestingly, Napoleon who lived at this time was said to suffer from hemorrhoids. It is even speculated that he may have lost the Battle of Waterloo because he was unable to remain on his horse that day, and had to leave the battlefield.

Instead of journeying to France to sit on St. Fiacre’s stone, modern day sufferers often turn to the internet to search for a hemorrhoid cure.  We at Natural Herbway know there are many companies who claim they have “the hemorrhoid cure,” and unbelievably, some say they can do it in 48 hours or even 12 hours.  You can watch video after video of professional-looking people or paid actors extolling the benefits of their particular product on the internet.  These companies sell their hemorrhoid cures like the charlatans of Mark Twain’s fiction.  But as the people of his time learned and we learn today, there is not one product by itself that will cure you of your hemorrhoids.  Some will provide temporary relief but it is only temporary and the hemorrhoids will return.  You can apply a topical cream to the itching and burning of the anal area and it will relieve your hemorrhoid symptoms for awhile.  Yet the swollen and inflamed veins of the hemorrhoid will remain to flare up again once you stop applying the cream.  To keep applying an ointment indefinitely is going to be costly.  We at Natural Herbway want you to actually shrink the hemorrhoidal veins until they are normal again.  We have dedicated ourselves to helping you find the answer to relieving you of your suffering with hemorrhoids for the rest of your life.

Hemorrhoids are the symptoms of an unhealthy digestive system.  We at Natural Herbway offer our hemorrhoid treatment in a kit to treat your problem from many different levels.  There is the Comfrey Ointment that will instantly soothe the irritated area with natural ingredients from the comfrey plant.  The fast-healing effects of comfrey are attributable to allantoin, a wonderful and amazing ingredient that speeds cell production both inside and outside the body.  Our HemAway Capsules of herbal supplements will help supply your digestive system with healing agents to further shrink the hemorrhoids.  The ingredients are all from nature and have no known side effects in the amounts recommended.  St. Fiacre could have grown these beneficial herbs in his garden—stone, red and marshmallow root, butcher’s broom, slippery elm bark, and peppermint.  The rectal bulb will cleanse the rectum to remove harmful impurities and bacteria which aggravate the hemorrhoids.  Then to insure that you will have found your hemorrhoid cure, our book, Everything You Wanted to Know About Hemorrhoids & More, will furnish all the information you need to know to make lifestyle changes. Exercises to help you promote better health, along with tips on adding adequate fiber, and water to your diet are in the book.  The importance of eating regular meals is discussed in depth along with other important facts.

St. Fiacre may have found an instant hemorrhoid cure in the miracle that happened to him, but those of us who don’t have his heavenly connections must rely on earthly remedies.  It is so important that we learn as much as possible about hemorrhoids, and what has gone wrong in our systems that we are now suffering.  We stand behind our belief that there is no instant “hemorrhoid cure,” but that you can rid yourself of the embarrassment of hemorrhoids with our kit and find your way back to health.  No other company provides all the products we do in one kit.  We even guarantee it, and if you are not satisfied with our kit, we will return your hard-earned money.  We have built our business by creating satisfied customers, not by misleading customers into believing a hemorrhoid cure will happen without effort being put into it.  Remember it is important that you see your doctor to make sure you have the correct diagnosis of hemorrhoids and not another disease.  Call or email us with any questions that you have about hemorrhoids or our hemorrhoid treatment kit, and we will be more than happy to answer any of your concerns.
